My Cat Likes to Hide in Boxes

Given that I’m literally going and coming back to Italy and my little students still don’t get my nationality neither which languages I speak, but they definitely know that I teach English all around the world,  I decided to start out project with this book.

It is about seven cats that come from 7 different countries in the world. It introduces nationalities, landmarks, stereotypes and flags. The story is told in rhymes, mostly in the past tense, either regular and irregular verbs and the refrain in simple present (third person).

Children will work on this book for six lessons, studying the different countries and researching about cultures, capitals and landmarks.
Plus, they will work on a project: the making of their own story-based book!

By the end of the journey, children will have learned the story by heart, simply thanks to the natural repetition provided by the story and will perform a final show.

Below, the Lesson Plans:

Lesson 1
Lesson 2
Lesson 3
Lesson 4
Lesson 5
Lesson 6
